DOES YOUR INSURANCE COVER DME ITEMS?
Unless you have Medicare or Medicaid, it can be difficult for you to determine whether your insurance covers certain DME items. This is because there are hundreds of medical plans and they are all different. Smith Caldwell will contact your insurance company to determine if the DME item you need will be covered. We will bill your insurance company for any of the DME items with a prescription from your physician. We will also be glad to ship your supplies directly to your door if you are not able to pick them up or you are not within our delivery area.
